Lossless cut (and my favorite Shutter Encoder) do this. So a full frame of all the info and then just the changes. These compression types use a temporal compression scheme. The fastest tools can't be frame-accurate for h264/HEVC media. I should probably also clarify that the videos im trying to trim are never really longer than a minute at max. I imagine that ideally the whole process (exluding the export which might take longer due to reencoding) takes 30 seconds or less. it would finish the export in the background and close itself. Move the start/ends positions a few frames to line up perfectly with what i want to showĬlick export and move on to doing something else. Right click the video file and open with the trimmerĬlick once for the start of the clip, another time for the end. My goal is to have the whole workflow of trimming a video take less a minute, just open the program, select start end, and render/save. Single click, or even just keybind, to export/save the trimmed video Im loking for something that i hesitate to call a video editor, because i really only want one feature: trimming video.
